The Vivo V19 and the Vivo V19 Pro have been in the news recently. Both of these smartphones are expected to come as advanced variants of the Vivo V17 and the Vivo V17 Pro that are currently on sale in India. Back in December, a leak regarding the V19 duo revealed that Vivo could launch the handsets in the Indian market in Q1 2020. And a report that came out a couple of days ago claimed that the pre-orders of the phones could start by the end of February, just before the commencement of IPL 2020. Today, a piece of new information regarding both the devices has surfaced online.

According to a fresh report from 91Mobiles, the Vivo V19 and the V19 Pro will have a punch-hole in their displays. The publication claims that the punch-hole will have a wide design to accommodate two front-facing cameras. Unfortunately, we still don’t know if the punch-hole will be aligned to the center, left, or right side of the screen. There is also no information regarding the type or resolution of the selfie cameras. That being said, among the two cameras at the front, one will obviously be the primary shooter with a regular field of view, and the other could be nothing more than a depth-sensor.

Vivo being one of the major sponsors of the IPL, the brand promotes its newly launched smartphones during the cricket contest. Since the V19 and the V19 Pro will be coming out just before the IPL 2020, the brand could use the IPL platform to promote its devices. Anyway, reports online suggest that the Vivo V19 and the Vivo V19 Pro could be priced between INR 20,000 and INR 30,000. Expect both smartphones to feature Qualcomm Snapdragon SoCs, up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, quad-camera setup at the rear, large battery packs, fast charging capabilities, and newer design.
