vivo is gearing up for the launch of its vivo V21 smartphone in India. The device will be a 5G handset and has already appeared on several certification websites well ahead of launch. That being said, we have today spotted the 4G variant of the smartphone on the Thailand NBTC certification website, which means that the brand might soon unveil the seemingly lower-priced variant of the device as well. It is worth noting that the vivo V21 4G has also been spotted on the Indonesian Telecom website and the TKDN certification website in the past, albeit with a different model number. Take a look at the NBTC certification for the upcoming vivo V21 4G smartphone and find out what it has in store for us.
vivo V21 4G receives NBTC certification, launch imminent
As seen in the NBTC certification image above, the vivo V21 4G (with the model number vivo V2066) has recently received the certification. The certificate clearly claims that the device will be a 4G handset even after the fact that the same model number has been spotted in the past running on a MediaTek Dimensity 800U chipset.
To make it easier (or all the way more confusing) for you, the 4G variant of the vivo V21, which we have spotted on the TKDN certification and Indonesian Telecom certification websites in the past, bears the model number vivo V2108, making it two different model numbers competing for the same moniker.
Whatever the end result may be, we know for sure that the vivo V21 5G smartphone’s launch is not too far away from now and there are absolute chances that its 4G counterpart might launch as well. To learn more about the vivo V21 (series), you can head to our previous coverage for the same.
