Vivo has expanded its V-series portfolio today in the Malaysian market with the launch of two new smartphones in the country. Vivo V21 5G and Vivo 21e have joined the V-series family in the Malaysian market and both the handset comes with an array of impressive features and specifications. Both the smartphones fall in the mid-range price segment and offer highlighted features like the sleek design, triple-rear camera setup, waterdrop notch design, extended RAM, matte glass design, and a lot more among others.

The company has made some tweaks to the software ecosystem to deliver a better user interface experience. Let’s have a closer look at the price specifications and features of the newly launched Vivo V21 and the V21e. 

Vivo V21 5G and Vivo V21e Price 

The Vivo V21 5G in Malaysia is priced at RM 1,599 (approx Rs 29,000) for the 11GB RAM and 128GB storage. The smartphone is available for sale via the e-commerce site Lazada and via official retailers. The Vivo V21 is up for grabs in Sunset Dazzle and Dusk Blue colour options. 

While the V21e is launched with a price tag of RM 1,299 (approx Rs 23,000) for the 11GB RAM and 128GB storage model. The smartphone will be up for grabs in Diamond Flare and Roman Black colour options. The handset is available for sale starting today in the country. 

Vivo V21 5G Specifications 

The Vivo V21 5G flaunts a 6.44-inch FHD+ AMOLED with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels with HDR 10+ support and SGS display certification. It has a 90Hz refresh rate with 500 nits of peak brightness and a 6000000:1 contrast ratio. The smartphone houses a waterdrop notch design to make some room for the 44MP OIS front camera sensor for selfies and video calls. 

Under the hood, the Vivo V21 5G draws power from the 2.4GHz MediaTek 800U SoC, clubbed with 8GB RAM + 3GB Extended RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. The handset packs a massive 4,000mAh battery with 33W Flash Charge support. It runs on Funtouch OS 11.1 based on Android 11. 

On the optical front, the Vivo V21 5G offers a triple rear camera setup with the combination of a 64MP OIS primary camera sensor, clubbed with an 8MP ultrawide sensor and a 2MP macro camera along with an LED flash. 

Vivo V21e Specifications 

The Vivo V21e boasts a 6.44-inch AMOLED FHD+ display with 2400 x 1080 ultra-high resolution. It has an aspect ratio of 20:9, HDR 10 support, pixel density of 408ppi and 570 nits of peak brightness. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC, clubbed with 8GB RAM + 3GB extended RAM. 

Under the hood, the smartphone offers 128GB storage which can be extended to a whopping 1TB via microSD card. The Vivo V21e is fuelled by a 4,000mAh battery with 33W FlashCharge, the company claims that it is capable of refilling the phone up to 60 percent in 30 minutes. 

As far as cameras are concerned, the Vivo V21e features a triple rear camera setup placed at the top left corner of the rear back. The camera module consists of a 64MP AI primary camera, accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro sensor along with an LED flash. Upfront, the smartphone houses a 44MP camera sensor for selfies and video calls. The selfie camera comes with an Eye Autofocus feature to enhance the focused delivery and picture quality.

  1. I think they have priced the Vivo V21 5G well because the mid-range segment in india is quite crowded and this phone stands apart with its impressive camera specs and mediatek SoC.
