After launching the Vivo Y73 (2021) in India last week, Vivo seems to be gearing up for another handset launch in the country. A report by 91mobiles claims that Vivo V21e 5G will make its debut very soon in India. To those unaware, the Vivo V21e (4G variant) was introduced globally a couple of months ago at an event in Malaysia. The Vivo V21e, launched recently in Malaysia, comes equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor. While the upcoming Vivo V21e 5G is said to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 mobile platform. The report by 91mobiles also reveals key specifications of the upcoming Vivo V21e 5G. Let us take a look at the details.
Vivo V21e 5G: Specifications, and Features
The V21e 5G is said to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor. This is the same processor that powers the Realme 8 5G, Redmi Note 10 5G, and POCO M3 Pro 5G. It will be coupled with 8GB RAM. This is in line with the information revealed via V21e 5G Geekbench listing that was spotted last month. 91mobiles report further reveals that the phone will ship with 128GB onboard storage. The V21e 5G might also feature a micro-SD card slot similar to the 4G counterpart.
The upcoming Vivo V21e 5G will sport an AMOLED display as per the report. It will be a 6.44-inch panel, which will likely have a waterdrop style notch to accommodate the front selfie camera, similar to the Vivo Y73. The Vivo V21e might offer a 64MP primary shooter, coupled with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor. Vivo seems to be keeping a 32MP front shooter on the V21e 5G, compared to 44MP on Vivo V21e (4G variant).
The smartphone is said to be equipped with a 4,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging support. In terms of pricing, the Vivo V21e 5G is expected to fill the gap between the Vivo Y73 (2021) and Vivo V21 5G. So, we can expect it to be priced between Rs. 20,990 and Rs. 29,900 in the country.
