Vivo is gearing up for the launch of the Vivo V23 series smartphone. The Vivo V23 series is supposed to include two devices namely the Vivo V23 and the Vivo V23 Pro. As per the past leak, Vivo is expected to launch the Vivo V23 Pro in India in January. Ahead of the official launch, the specifications of the Vivo V23 Pro are already out courtesy of the Geekbench listing. In a recent development now, the handset has appeared on the Google Play Console. The Google Play Console listing reveals the render of the Vivo V23 Pro as well as some key specifications.
Vivo V23 Pro Specifications Revealed
As per the specifications listed on Google Play Console, the Vivo V23 Pro (V2132) will have a 1080 × 2376 pixel resolution display. The display panel will have a pixel density of 440 PPI. On the software front, the V23 Pro will run Android 12 out of the box with FuntouchOS 12 on top. Under the hood, the smartphone will be powered by an octa-core Dimensity 1200 processor which will be accompanied by 8GB of RAM.
Coming to the design of the handset, the V23 Pro will have a wider notch at the front which will include two selfie cameras. The smartphone in terms of imaging is expected to feature a 64MP main camera. The other key specifications of the device such as battery capacity details, selfie camera information, and display size remain a mystery at the moment. As per the previous leak, the device will have a changeable fluorite glass design. The smartphone’s rear panel will change its colour when exposed to sunlight.
It is said that Vivo will release the Vivo V23 Pro model first, while the vanilla V23 variant will go official later on. As of now, the Chinese smartphone maker has not revealed the official launch date of the Vivo V23 and Vivo V23 Pro. The previous leak however suggests that the Vivo V23 Pro will be released on January 4th, 2022. As the days pass, we shall get to learn more details of both the Vivo V23 and the V23 Pro if they appear on any certifications or benchmarks.
