Vivo has launched a new V-series smartphone in India. The company has announced the Vivo V23e 5G in India as its new smartphone under Rs 30,000. The V23e sits below the vanilla V23 and V23 Pro, which were launched earlier this year in India.

The V23e comes with a water-drop notch display. It has an AMOLED screen with thin bezels around it. However, the phone has a thick chin. The smartphone comes with a MediaTek 5G processor. Vivo has launched the V23e in a single 8GB + 128GB storage option. The device is priced at Rs 25,990. It comes in two colours – Sunrise Gold and Midnight Blue.

Specifications and Features 

The Vivo V23e features a 6.44-inch AMOLED display. The screen has a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. It also has a standard 60Hz refresh rate, which is lower than most smartphones in the price range that either offers a 90Hz or a 120Hz refresh rate display.

Under the hood, there is a MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC. The phone is paired with 8GB of RAM. It also supports 4GB of virtual RAM, which is consumed from the device’s 128GB of internal storage.

The smartphone is about 7.32mm thick and weighs 172 grams. It packs a 4050 mAh battery and supports 44W fast charging out of the box. The rectangular camera block on the back has a triple-camera setup with a 50MP main camera sensor. It has an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP tertiary sensor. For selfies, there is a 44MP front camera sensor.

The Vivo smartphone runs Android 12 out of the box. It has a layer of Funtouch OS 12 on top of Android. It comes with support for Bluetooth 5.1, WiFi, GPS, 4G VoLTE, 5G, USB Type-C, etc. The smartphone has an in-display fingerprint scanner and AI face unlock support.
