Vivo V25 5G India Launch Confirmed; Specifications Revealed Via Flipkart: Expected Price, Features

Vivo has confirmed the launch of a new V-series smartphone. The company launched the Vivo V25 Pro as its new premium smartphone in the V-series earlier this year. The vanilla V25 5G was also unveiled in Thailand. While the V25 Pro 5G is available for purchase in India, Vivo did not launch the vanilla model alongside. The company has now confirmed that the V25 5G will debut soon in India. 

The vanilla V25 5G will be available for purchase via Flipkart soon after its launch. The microsite on Flipkart confirms some key details, most of which were exclusively revealed via MySmartPrice previously. Vivo V25 5G India Launch

Vivo V25 5G will be the second smartphone in the latest V-series. The phone is confirmed to launch in India via a Flipkart microsite. The microsite confirms that the phone will launch in two colours – black and blue. It will have a Fluorite AG glass with colour-changing technology.

The Flipkart microsite also revealed that the phone will feature a 50MP eye auto-focus front camera inside the waterdrop notch. There will be a Bokeh Flare Portrait mode, which is said to deliver “natural and dreamlike bokeh.”

The V25 5G will also offer 8GB of RAM at least and come with 8GB of Extended RAM support. MySmartPrice exclusively revealed that the phone will launch in two storage options – 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB. The base model of the phone will be priced under Rs 30,000.

Other specifications of the phone include a 6.44-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The phone sports a flat frame and a Full HD+ screen. It will weigh about 186 grams and is 7.79mm thick. The Indian variant will also pack a 4500 mAh battery with 44W fast charging support out of the box. Taking care of the performance unit will be a MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC.

On the back, there is a triple-camera setup with a 64MP main camera with OIS support along with an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro camera. The device will run Android 12-based Funtouch OS 12 out of the box.
