Vivo V25 with Dimensity 900, 8GB RAM Listed on Geekbench, Expected to Launch Soon

Vivo will launch the V25 series soon in India. The company’s brand ambassador Virat Kohli has already teased the design of the V25 Pro ahead of its official launch. Vivo is expected to launch the V25 series in India in August 2022. The exact launch date of the next V-series is not known. A report revealed that Vivo will unveil its new V-series smartphones on August 17 or August 18. While we wait for the official launch date, the V25 has been spotted on the Geekbench website.

We are certain that the phone is the V25 as its moniker and model number were confirmed via the Indonesia Telecom certification. Let’s take a look at the Vivo V25 specifications, features and other details known so far.

Vivo V25 Geekbench Listing

Vivo V25 will launch soon in India and other markets. The device has the model number V2202 and is listed on the Geekbench website. According to the Geekbench listing, the phone draws power from a chipset with the model number MT6877V. This is the Dimensity 900 SoC, which is a mid-range chipset. It is paired with a Mali-G68 GPU.

The variant of the V25 listed on Geekbench has 8GB of RAM. We can expect Vivo to launch the phone with more RAM options. The phone will launch with at least 128GB of internal storage. The V25 will also run Android 12 out of the box. Since it is a global variant, the phone will have a layer of Funtouch OS 12.1 on top of Android. The phone scored 700 and 1997 in Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core tests. The device has also been listed on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website.

Other details of the phone were not revealed. On the other hand, MySmartPrice has already revealed the V25 Pro specifications. The phone will have a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC under the hood. It will sport a triple-camera setup on the back. The device will feature a 3D curved AMOLED display with a Full-HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate support.
