Vivo V25 May Launch in India in August, Vivo V25 Pro to Follow

Vivo V25 series is yet to be announced anywhere. The company’s successor to the Vivo V23 series is expected to arrive sometime later this year. Ahead of the official announcement from the company, Vivo V25 Pro 5G moniker was confirmed on the IMEI database and also RAM and storage details of the device surfaced online.

Now, a new report from India Today Tech has tipped the launch timeline of the Vivo V25 series in India. Like last year, this year as well, the company could launch three devices in the series 一 Vivo V25 Pro, Vivo V25, and Vivo V25e. Let’s take a look at the Vivo V25 launch details.

Vivo V25 Series India Launch Timeline Revealed

As per the report, the Vivo V25 will be the first smartphone in the series to launch in India. The vanilla Vivo V25 device is expected to launch on August 17 or August 18 in India, which is still six weeks away from now. The Vivo V25 Pro, on the other hand, is expected to launch a few weeks later in India. The company is also planning to launch a new variant of the Vivo V25 alongside the Vivo V25 Pro, which is expected to launch in the month of September.

Further, the device Vivo V25e could also launch in India, which will be the most affordable phone in the series. However, there is no word on the launch of this device yet. Lastly, the report also states that these launch timelines might change depending on the Covid-19 pandemic and the supply chain situation.

Vivo V25 Series: What to Expect

Based on the previous report, the Vivo V25 Pro will be sold in three configurations – 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 256GB. The Pro version is expected to come with a 120Hz 6.56-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display. On the back, it will come with a triple-camera setup with a 50MP Sony IMX766V sensor, a 12MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP portrait camera. For selfies, there will be a 32MP front camera. It will be powered by the Dimensity 8100 SoC and will draw power from the 4500mAh battery with 80W fast charging support.

On the contrary, the vanilla Vivo V25 will come with a 90Hz 6.62-inch FHD+ AMOLED display and will feature either a Snapdragon 778G or a Mediatek Dimensity 1200 SoC. It will pack a 4,500mAh battery under the hood with 44W or 66W fast charging support. The rear camera setup will be the same as the V25 Pro.
