Vivo recently launched the V25 series in India. The new premium V-series includes the V25 5G and V25 Pro 5G in India. There is also the V25 4G, which is rumoured to launch in India in the coming days. While we wait for some more details on that front, a new report has revealed some details about the launch of the next V-series phones already. Vivo is said to launch the V27 series early next year.
A 91Mobiles report claimed that the upcoming V-series phones, which will be a part of the V27 series, will launch during Q1 of 2023. The report also revealed the possible models launching under the V27 series in India. Let’s take a look at more details about the Vivo V27 series launch timeline known so far.
Vivo V27 Series: When is it Coming to India?
Vivo V27 series will launch as a successor to the V25 series in the coming months. The company could launch at least two phones in the lineup. The 91Mobiles report stated that Vivo could launch the V27 series in February 2023. This is the India launch timeline and it is unknown if the company plans to launch the phones in other markets to mark the global debut.
There will be two models at least. These are the V27 5G and the V27 Pro 5G. The company might also unveil a budget V27e as a successor to the V25e 4G. While the timeline has leaked, the launch date has not.
The report speculates that the V27 series could ship with new-generation MediaTek Dimensity chipsets. The current V25 series features a Dimensity 1300 SoC under the hood.
Vivo could also launch the V25 4G in India in the coming weeks. It is expected to launch as a rebadged V25e 4G from Thailand. The 4G phone is said to pack the same specs. It will feature a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC under the hood. The phone could offer up to 8GB of RAM under the hood along with 128GB of internal storage. There will be a 4500mAh battery with support for 44W fast charging out of the box.
On the back, there will be a triple-camera setup. The device could feature a 64MP main camera sensor along with two 2MP sensors. These will be for shooting macro images and depth sensing. For selfies, the device will feature a 32MP front camera.
The rear panel will sport Vivo’s colour-changing tech. It will come in Sunshine Gold and Diamond Black colours. On the front, the V25 4G is likely to sport a 6.44-inch AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate support and an in-display fingerprint scanner. The phone will sit below the V25 5G in India. It could be priced at around Rs 23,000 in India. The company is yet to confirm the launch date of the V25 4G. We will share more details as and when available.
