Vivo is rumoured to launch the V29 series soon. The company is likely to launch at least two smartphones in the lineup. The V29 Pro will sit at the top of the line, whereas the V29 Lite will be the baseline model. It is possible that the V29 5G sits between the two models. Vivo has not confirmed the launch date of the devices yet. The rumour mill claims that the V29 series will debut in June. Meanwhile, a new leak has revealed the design renders of the Vivo V29 Lite 5G ahead of its launch.

Tipster Paras Guglani, in collaboration with The Tech Outlook, has uploaded design renders of the upcoming Vivo V series smartphone. The V29 Lite 5G is said to have the model number V2244. The report also revealed some key specifications of the phone. Let’s take a look at the Vivo V29 Lite 5G design renders, specifications and other details known so far.

Vivo V29 Lite 5G: Design Renders and Specifications

The Vivo V29 Lite 5G will be a new mid-range smartphone launching very soon. The phone’s design renders have leaked online. According to the images shared by Guglani, the V29 Lite will feature a curved frame and rear panel. It has the power and volume buttons on the right edge. The bottom edge has the USB Type-C port, a speaker grille and the SIM tray.

On the front, there is a curved display with a hole-punch cutout at the top centre. The chin bezel, although fairly narrow, is thicker than the rest of the bezels. The rear panel has a rectangular camera module for the triple-camera setup. The LED flash module is placed next to the camera sensors inside the module.

The images show the V29 Lite 5G in its gold colour option. We can expect the company to launch the phone in more colour options in various markets.

The report further revealed that the V29 Lite 5G could feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G SoC. The same was confirmed via a Google Play Console database listing. It is likely to launch with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The device is also likely to pack a 5000mAh battery and offer support for 44W fast charging.

On the front, there will be a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. The device might offer 90Hz or 120Hz refresh rate support. The V29 Lite 5G is also said to feature a 64MP main camera sensor. However, there will not be an ultra-wide lens, according to the tipster. Instead, the V29 Lite 5G will feature two 2MP sensors for depth sensing and macro photography. For selfies, there will be a 16MP front camera sensor inside the hole-punch cutout.

The V29 Lite 5G is likely going to be a fairly lightweight phone. It is likely to weigh about 177 grams, according to the report. We also expect the phone to launch with Android 13 out of the box and have a layer of Funtouch OS 13 on top.
