Vivo is gearing up for the launch of a new foldable phone. The company is expected to launch the Vivo X Fold 2 later this year in China. The foldable phone might launch in global markets very soon following its debut in China. Vivo is yet to reveal the official launch date of the device. Meanwhile, the launch of the X Fold 2 seems imminent as it has likely visited the AnTuTu benchmark site.

Vivo X Fold 2 AnTuTu Listing
The Vivo X Fold 2 is likely to launch in the coming weeks in China. Ahead of its official debut, the foldable phone is listed on AnTuTu. The benchmark listing confirms that the upcoming Vivo foldable phone will feature the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The device, which has the model number PD2266, will also pack 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, according to the AnTuTu listing. In addition to this, the listing confirms that the foldable phone will run Android 13 out of the box. There will be a layer of Origin OS 3 for the Chinese market. If the phone launches globally, it is likely to get Funtouch OS 13 out of the box.
The X Fold 2 scored a whopping 13,18,092 points on AnTuTu. It scored 2,88,246 and 5,79,982 points in the CPU and GPU tests. The device managed to get 2,56,004 and 1,93,860 points in the Memory and UX tests as well. The phone has scored among the highest in smartphones, let alone foldable phones.
Other details of the X Fold 2 have leaked in the past as well. The device is likely to pack a 4800mAh battery and offer 120W fast charging support. There will be an 8-inch E6 AMOLED foldable display with a 2K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate support. The phone is also said to feature an in-display fingerprint scanner on the cover screen as well.
In addition to this, the X Fold 2 is tipped to sport a triple-camera setup on the back. There will be a 50MP Sony IMX866 main camera with OIS support along with a 12MP Sony IMX663 ultra-wide sensor and a 12MP Sony IMX663 telephoto lens.
