Vivo has launched its new foldable smartphone in China. The company has launched the Vivo X Fold+ 5G, which is its second foldable smartphone this year. Compared to the X Fold 5G, the Fold+ comes with a few incremental upgrades. Vivo has packed a new SoC under the hood. The X Fold+ 5G gets a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, which is based on a 4nm fabrication process.
The X Fold+ 5G also gets faster charging and improvements in the foldable display hinge. Vivo has not revealed its plans to launch the foldable phone outside China. While we wait for that, here’s a quick look at the Vivo X Fold+ 5G price, specifications and other details.

Vivo has launched the X Fold+ 5G in two storage options. The foldable phone’s base model offers 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It is priced at CNY 9,999 (roughly Rs 1,13,900). There is also a 512GB storage option, which packs 12GB of RAM and is priced at CNY 10,999 (roughly Rs 1,25,300). The phone is available for purchase in China in three colours – Red, Blue and Black
