Vivo X Fold+ 5G Full Design and Colour Options Including Huaxia Red Colour Variant Tipped

Vivo is gearing up to launch a new foldable device under the Fold series. The company is all set to launch the Vivo X Fold+ 5G foldable phone in the coming days as the company has already teased the launch of the device in China.

Earlier this year, the company launched the X Fold and now, Vivo is prepping to launch the Vivo X Fold+. The Fold+ was previously spotted on multiple certifications including TENAA, Google Play Supported Devices List, 3C, and more. A couple of days back, Vivo officially confirmed the launch of the device in China and now the colour option of the upcoming foldable smartphone has leaked on Weibo.

Ahead of the official launch of the device, a couple of images of the Fold+ have been leaked on Weibo and Tipster Mukul Sharma posted the same on Twitter this morning. The Red colour option will be called the Huaxia Red colour variant and as you can see from the image below, the phone comes with Red paint job on the back and it looks like the device will feature leather material. In addition to the red, the device will also come in a Blue colour option. The image also shows off the large camera island with a quad camera setup, LED flash and Zeiss logo on the top.


Vivo X Fold+ Expected Specifications

Based on the previous reports, the upcoming Vivo X Fold+ will feature an 8.03-inch foldable display and a 6.53-inch FHD+ AMOLED cover display. Both screens will support up to 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device is likely to feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor.

In the camera department, the device is tipped to feature a quad-camera setup with a 50MP main camera, a 48MP ultrawide camera, a 12MP portrait camera sensor and an 8MP periscope camera. The hole-punch cutouts will feature 16MP or 32MP front camera sensors. The phone is said to draw power from a large 4600 mAh battery.

Vivo is rumoured to launch the foldable phone with 80W fast charging support out of the box. It is also said to support 50W wireless charging. It will run Android 12 out of the box and is likely to feature Funtouch OS 12/ Origin OS Ocean depending on the market.
