Vivo launched its first foldable smartphone, the X Fold, earlier this year in China. The foldable smartphone from Vivo comes with an 8-inch foldable AMOLED display and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. It has been only a few months since Vivo launched the X Fold in China. The company is now rumoured to be working on a successor model to the X Fold. A Weibo user claims that the Vivo X Fold S is in the works. The upcoming foldable smartphone from Vivo will be an interactive upgrade and offer slightly improved specs over the X Fold.

Vivo X Fold S Specifications
Vivo X Fold S will be the second foldable smartphone from the company. The device is expected to launch very soon in China with upgraded specs. According to a new leak (via), the X Fold S will draw power from a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. In comparison, the original X Fold S features a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC.
In addition to this, the leaked details reveal that the foldable phone will also feature 80W fast charging support along with 50W wireless charging. The X Fold came with 66W fast charging out of the box. The tipster also claims that Vivo will launch the X Fold S with a dual ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner.
Other specifications of the phone are likely to remain the same as the X Fold. The X Fold S, in that case, could feature an 8.03-inch foldable AMOLED display. The LTPO display will offer a 1916 x 2160-pixel resolution and 120Hz refresh rate support. On the outside, there will be a 6.53-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate support as well.
The foldable phone could sport a quad-camera setup on the back. It is likely to feature a 50MP main camera, a 48MP ultrawide camera, a 12MP telephoto camera and an 8MP periscope camera. The device will also feature a 16MP front camera. Under the hood, there will be a 4,600mAh battery.
