Vivo has entered the foldable smartphone category with the launch of the X Fold. The foldable smartphone from Vivo has a similar folding mechanism as the Galaxy Z Fold 3 5G. Alongside the Vivo Fold smartphone, the company has also launched the X Note. The device is a premium Android smartphone with a 7-inch display. It also comes with a top-of-the-line Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. 

The third smartphone launched at the Vivo event in China is the Vivo Pad. The device is the company’s new tablet that comes with an 11-inch 2.5K display. Let’s take a look at the Vivo X Fold, X Note and the Vivo Pad specifications, price and other details.

Vivo X Fold, X Note Price 

Vivo has launched the X Fold as its new premium foldable smartphone in China. Alongside, the company also launched the X note and the Vivo Pad. The X Fold comes in two storage options. The base model has 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It is priced at CNY 8,999 (roughly Rs 1,07,200). There is a 12GB + 512GB storage option, which is priced at CNY 9,999 (roughly Rs 1,19,100). It comes in Black, Blue and Grey colours.

The X Note arrives in 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB storage options. The base model is priced at CNY 5999 (roughly Rs 71,400), whereas the 12GB RAM options are priced at CNY 6,499 (roughly Rs 77,400) and CNY 6999 (roughly Rs 83,300). It comes in three colour options 一 Blue, Black and Grey. 

Vivo Pad Price

Vivo has launched the Vivo Pad in 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB storage options. They are priced at CNY 2499 (roughly Rs 29,800) and CNY 2999 (roughly Rs 35,700). The tablet comes in Blue and Grey colours. 

Vivo X Fold Specifications 

The new Vivo foldable smartphone has an 8.03-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate support. It has a 4:3.5 aspect ratio and a 2K resolution. The screen has a hole-punch cutout at the top right for the 16MP front camera. For a smooth and durable folding mechanism, the device has an aerospace-grade wing hinge. 

On the outside, there is a 6.53-inch AMOLED display. The screen has a 21:9 aspect ratio and is curved slightly on the right side. There is a hole-punch cutout at the top centre for the front camera.

Under the hood, the foldable phone has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. It packs a 4600 mAh battery with support for 66W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging. The device has a quad-camera setup on the back. It comes with a 50MP F/1.75 main camera sensor and a 48MP ultra-wide camera. The camera setup also includes a 12MP portrait camera (47mm focal length) and an 8MP periscope camera with 5X optical zoom and up to 60x digital zoom. The device also comes with an alert slider and runs Android 12-based Origin OS Ocean on top.

Vivo X Note Specifications 

The X Note has a 7-inch 2K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate support. The screen is curved and has a hole-punch cutout at the top centre for the front camera. It comes with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC and a 5000 mAh battery. The phone will support 80W fast charging and 50W wireless charging. 

In addition to this, the phone has a quad-camera setup on the back with the same sensor setup as the X Fold. There is a 50MP main camera, a 48MP ultrawide camera, a 12MP portrait camera with 2x zoom and an 8MP periscope camera with 5x zoom support.

Vivo Pad Specifications 

The Vivo tablet comes with an 11-inch 2.5K display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It has fairly thin bezels around the display. The tablet comes with support for Vivo’s Pencil smart stylus and a keyboard.

Under the hood, there is a Snapdragon 870 processor. It comes with a beefy 8040 mAh battery with 44W fast charging support. The tablet has a quad stereo speaker setup but misses out on the 3.5mm headphone jack. It has a dual-rear camera setup with a 13MP main camera and an 8MP ultrawide camera. For selfies and video calls, there is an 8MP front camera. the tablet boots Android 11-based Origin OS out of the box.
