Vivo launched the X90 series in India and other markets earlier this year. The latest Vivo flagship smartphones feature some top-of-the-line hardware, including a 1-inch type sensor, Dimensity 9200 SoC, 6.78-inch 120Hz curved AMOLED display, etc. It has been only a few months since the launch of the X90 series and details about the next Vivo flagship smartphones have leaked online. A new report by The Tech Outlook has revealed the specifications of the X100 series. Vivo is likely to launch the X100 series later this year in China. The device is also expected to launch globally soon after the China debut.

Vivo X100 5G: Specifications and Features (Leaked)

The Vivo X100 5G will be the company’s next high-end Android flagship series phone for the global markets. The device’s specifications have leaked online. According to the Tech Outlook report, the X100 5G will carry the model number V2308. 


The X100 5G will sit below the X100 Pro and X100 Pro+ 5G in the lineup. According to the report, the phone is said to feature an AMOLED display with support for a 120Hz refresh rate. The display is also said to offer adaptive refresh rate support.

Vivo will launch the X100 5G in global markets with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The phone is unlikely to get any other RAM or storage options. Under the hood, there will be a Dimensity 8 series SoC. At the moment, the exact details of the SoC are unknown. The leaked details are contrary to some previous rumours, which suggested that the X100 5G will feature a MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC under the hood,

The phone might launch in three colour options — Black, purple and white. Also, the device will pack a beefy 5000mAh battery, which will be bigger than the outgoing model. The X100 is also said to offer 100W fast charging support, which is also faster than the X90 series.

The report revealed that the X100 series will boot Android 14 out of the box. It is likely to have a layer of Funtouch OS 14 on top of Android. The Chinese market will have a layer of Origin OS on top.

Vivo is rumoured to launch the X100 series in China in the fourth quarter of 2023. The device is likely to launch in India and other global markets early next year. Other details about the X100 5G are unknown at the moment. We will share more details as and when available.
