Vivo X100 Pro+ to Feature 200MP Periscope Telephoto Camera, Design Render Leaked

The latter is because of the collaboration between Zeiss and Vivo for fine-tuning the smartphone camera performance. The phone has a raised square island which appears to be glass. It has a circular camera module featuring four camera sensors. The one in the bottom right corner is a periscope telephoto sensor.

This is the sensor tipped to be a 200MP periscope telephoto sensor by Digital Chat Station, another Weibo-based tipster. This is a huge upgrade, at least in terms of megapixels count. In comparison, the current-gen Vivo X90 Pro+ comes with a 64MP periscope telephoto sensor and the camera-beast Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra has a 10MP periscope telephoto sensor.

On the front side, the alleged X100 Pro+ is shown with a curved display panel featuring a centred punch-hole. There are minimal bezels on all four sides giving it a bezel-less look.

Vivo X100 Pro+ Specifications (Rumored)

A recent report talked about some of the Vivo X100 series specifications and release timeline. It claimed both Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro will launch with MediaTek’s Dimensity 9300 processor. This is a flagship chip said to be manufactured using the 4nm process and to come with only powerful cores. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset is claimed to power the X100 Pro+ smartphone.

The X100 Pro is reported to come with a 1-inch primary camera sensor, similar to the X100 Pro+. The periscope telephoto sensor is said to get improvements in terms of optical zoom capabilities which we have talked about above. The smartphone is further said to have a glass body and support for 100W fast charging technology.

Vivo is expected to unveil the X100 series during the fourth quarter of the year but the X100 Pro+ could get an early 2024 release.
