Vivo has officially revealed the launch timeline of X100 series smartphones.
Vivo will launch the top-end smartphone in the first quarter of 2024 in China.
The upcoming smartphones are expected to make their way to international markets.
Digital Chat Station recently revealed the key specifications of the Vivo X100 Pro+ smartphone. A previous report from The Tech Outlook revealed the complete specifications of the vanilla X100 smartphone. The Chinese tipster previously announced that Vivo will launch the smartphone by the end of 2023. The upcoming X100 series will include X100, X100 Pro, and X100 Pro+ smartphones.
Ahead of the developments, Vivo has confirmed the launch of the X100 smartphone in China. Vivo Global President (via) has revealed the launch timeline of the upcoming X100 and X100 Pro smartphones. The President added that the brand will launch the X100 Pro+ smartphone later. Vivo is also expected to announce Vivo X Fold 3 in the first quarter of the upcoming year.
During a recent event, Shen Wei, Vivo Global President, confirmed that the company will launch X100 and X100 Pro smartphones in China by the end of 2023. Popular tipster Digital Chat Station revealed that Vivo will launch the smartphones in November.
Another report also states that the X100 Pro+ smartphone will be launched in the first quarter of 2024 in China. Vivo will launch smartphones in the global markets by Q2 of 2024. Vivo Global President added that 130 passionate Vivo supporters will receive an X100 Pro smartphone as a gift during the launch event.
The upcoming smartphones are expected to debut with several improvements in cameras. Vivo is expected to equip smartphones with an independent V3 ISP, built on a 6nm process to improve the camera performance of upcoming smartphones.
Vivo is tipped to equip the upcoming X100 series smartphones with an OLED display. The display will have a refresh rate of 120Hz and 1.5K resolution. The display will feature a centred punch-hole cut-out to house the selfie camera.
Under the hood, the vanilla X100 and X100 Pro smartphones are tipped to be equipped with the upcoming MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset. The chipset is expected to be built on a 4nm process and is tipped to launch in October. The octa-core chipset will have four Cortex-X4, four Cortex-A720 cores, and Arm Immortalis G720 GPU.
