Vivo recently launched the V15 Pro in India. The company is now planning to launch a new phone in the X-series in its homeland, China. This phone is dubbed Vivo X27, and reports suggest that the company will be unveiling the phone on March 19, 2019, in Sanya, China. Meanwhile, official renders of the upcoming phone have also surfaced. Earlier, the phone also made an appearance on a Chinese TV show “Happy Camp.”

Vivo X27 Official Render Reveals Design Closer To V15 Pro

The recently leaked official renders of the Vivo X27 show its uncanny resemblance with the Vivo V15 Pro. Besides, a Vivo phone carrying model number V1831A has been spotted on TENAA website. This device is also being rumored to be the Vivo X27. Even in the TENAA listing, the phone looks similar to the Vivo V15 Pro.

Concerning specs of the Vivo X27, the TENAA listing reveals that the phone will come with a 6.53-inch full HD+ display at 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution. A 2.1GHz octa-core processor would power the phone. Although the listing does not specify the SoC, we expect it to be MediaTek Helio P70. The phone could pack 6GB of RAM and 256GB of inbuilt storage. A 3,860mAh battery might back the phone with support for fast-charging. On the software side, the phone may ship with Android 9.0 Pie-based Funtouch OS.

Vivo X27 With Pop-Up Selfie Camera Like V15 Pro

Going by the specs and design of the Vivo X27, the phone seems to be a version of the V15 Pro. It may also turn out to be V15 Pro’s replacement for the China market. Keeping all the points in mind, the phone will most likely come with pop-up selfie camera design, just like the V15 Pro. Besides, the back panel of the phone will have a triple camera setup with a 48MP sensor. The listing shows that the phone will feature 48MP + 8MP + 5MP triple rear camera setup. The images of the phone on TENAA reveal that it will not feature a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. This means that the phone will settle for an In-display fingerprint sensor, yet again conforming to the V15 Pro.

To recall, the Vivo V15 Pro is priced at INR 28,990 in India. The phone has been launched in a single variant with 6GB of RAM and 128GB Storage. It is available in Topaz Blue and Ruby Red color options via leading e-commerce portals including Amazon, Flipkart, Paytm Mall, Snapdeal, and also Vivo’s website. The phone is rivaled by Oppo’s F11 Pro in the Indian smartphone market. The F11 Pro also has similar specs paired with a pop-up front camera.
