According to the report, an unnamed company official has told them that the company is also gearing up to launch the Vivo X50 Pro+ in India alongside the launch of the Vivo X60 and the Vivo X60 Pro.
The Vivo X50 Pro+was expected to be launched in mid-2020 but due to some unknown reason the company skipped the India launch. The smartphone was launched with a whole list of features in China back in June 2020. The smartphone features an HDR 10+ certified display and comes with 5G connectivity. The launch of the Vivo X50 Pro+ along with the Vivo X60 series suggest that the company is planning to hold the launch of the Vivo X60 Pro+ in India. There might be a possibility that Vivo is wanting to keep the smartphone exclusive for the home country.
Vivo X50 Pro+ price in India
Industrial sources told 91mobiles that the Vivo X50 pro+ will be launched in Indian with a price point of Rs 40,000, which is comparatively less than the Chinese pricing. The price segment makes sense because the smartphone is coming to India almost after nine months of launch. It would be interesting to see at what price point the company is going to launch the Vivo X60 series in India.
Vivo X50 Pro+ Specifications
The Vivo X50 Pro+ is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset, clubbed with 12GB RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. Under the hood, the smartphone is fuelled by a massive 4,350mAh battery with 44W fast wired charging support. The Vivo X50 Pro+ runs Android 10 with FunTouch OS 10.5.
The handset flaunts a 6.5-inch AMOLED FHD+ display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. It also has a punch-hole cutout design, which accommodates a 32-megapixel camera sensor for selfies and video calls. At the back, the Vivo X50 Pro+ features a quad-camera setup with the combination of a 50-megapixel primary camera + 13-megapixel periscope-style telephoto lens with up to 5X optical zoom + 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens + 32-megapixel telephoto lens.
