The flagship smartphones will launch in India in March 2021. The company’s India director, Nipun Marya, confirmed the X60 launch at the Vivo Vision+ launch. Marya did not reveal the exact launch date at the event. It is also unknown whether all three Vivo X60 flagships will launch in India. Last year, the company skipped the launch of the Vivo X50 Pro+ and only launched the X50 and X50 Pro. Vivo X60 series launch in India confirmed for March 2021
Vivo has confirmed the launch of the Vivo X60 series in India. The company will launch its flagship smartphone series in March 2021. The exact date of the X60 series India launch is currently unknown.
Vivo India Director Nipun Marya confirmed the X60 series India launch at the Vivo Vision+ event. Marya did not reveal the exact launch date. However, we speculate that the X60 series will launch during the second half of the month.
The company could launch all three smartphones under the X60 series. These include the X60, X60 Pro, and X60 Pro+. The flagship smartphones have already been launched in China. We can expect the three devices to come with the same specs in India.
Vivo X60 Pro+ Expected Price in India
The X60 Pro+ price starts at CNY 4,998 for 8GB RAM + 128GB model, which roughly translates to Rs 56,500). It also comes in a 12GB RAM + 256GB of internal storage priced at CNY 5,998 (approx. Rs 67,740). The device is available in two colour options including Deep Sea Blue and Classic Orange.
Vivo X60 Pro+ specifications
The Vivo X60 Pro+ comes with the flagship Snapdragon 888 SoC with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It is the first smartphone from the company that comes with Zeiss T* coating. The device has a quad-camera setup on the back. It has a 48MP Sony IMX598 ultra-wide sensor with a 4-axis micro-head that gives a shockproof effect of plus or minus 3 degrees. The phone also comes with a 50MP Samsung GN1 sensor with Zeiss T* coating, OIS + EIS, and f/1.57 aperture. It also features a 32MP portrait lens with 50mm focal length. Lastly, there is an 8MP periscope camera with 5x optical zoom and 60x digital zoom.
On the front, there is a 32MP selfie shooter with an f/2.45 aperture.
The phone sports a 6.56-inch Full HD+ E3 AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate support. It comes with HDR10+ support and 1300 nits brightness.
It packs a 4,200mAh battery with 55W fast charging support. The phone runs on Android 11 with OriginOS 1.0 on top of it.
