Vivo has confirmed the Vivo X60 series launch date. The company will unveil its flagship smartphone series in India on March 25. It is expected to launch three smartphones under the series. These include the Vivo X60, X60 Pro, and X60 Pro+. The three devices have already been launched in China. The Vivo X60 Pro+ sits at the top with premium hardware. It features a quad rear camera setup with Zeiss optics. The X60 Pro, on the other hand, features an Exynos 1080 SoC. The global variants are tipped to come with Snapdragon 870 SoC. Vivo X60 series launch in India confirmed for March 25
Vivo has confirmed the Vivo X60 series India launch date. The flagship smartphone series will debut in India on March 25.
The launch of the Vivo smartphones in India has been teased on Flipkart and Amazon, confirming their availability on the respective e-commerce websites. The X60 series is primarily known to pack quality camera hardware. It also features flagship-grade processors.
Vivo X60 Pro series price
The X60 Pro+ comes in two storage configurations in China. The base 8GB RAM + 128GB model is priced at CNY 4,998, which is roughly Rs 56,500). The top storage option with 12GB RAM + 256GB of internal storage priced at CNY 5,998 (approx. Rs 67,740). It comes in two colour options – Deep Sea Blue and Classic Orange.
The X60 Pro price is set at CNY 4,498 for the sole 12GB + 256GB model. It is roughly Rs 50,900 in India.
The standard X60 comes in three storage options – 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB. These three models are priced at CNY 3,498 (roughly Rs 39,400), CNY 3,798 (roughly Rs 42,800) and CNY 3,998 (roughly Rs 45,100) in China. The India pricing of the three devices is expected to be more or less the same as the China pricing.
Vivo X60 series specifications
As mentioned above, the Pro Plus model is the top-tier offering from Vivo under the X60 series. The device’s quad-camera setup has a 50MP Samsung GN1 sensor with Zeiss T* coating, OIS + EIS, and f/1.57 aperture. It also features a 48MP Sony IMX598 ultra-wide sensor with a 4-axis micro-head that gives a shockproof effect of plus or minus 3 degrees.
The Pro+ model’s camera module also comes with a 32MP, 50mm portrait lens and an 8MP periscope camera that shoots up to 5x optical zoom and 60x digital zoom. It has a 32MP front camera for selfies and video calls. The device sports a 6.56-inch Full HD+ E3 AMOLED display. The screen comes with 120Hz refresh rate support and HDR10+ certification. It also has a peak brightness of 1300 nits.
Vivo has packed a Snapdragon 888 SoC in the X60 Pro+. The phone comes with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It also includes a 4,200mAh battery with 55W fast charging support. The phone runs on Android 11 with OriginOS 1.0 on top of it.
