Vivo is rumoured to launch the X70 series in September 2021. The company will launch three new devices – X70, X70 Pro and X70 Pro Plus. Vivo is yet to announce the official launch date of the X70 series at the time of writing this. Rumours suggest that the devices will launch in India during the second leg of the Indian Premier League (IPL) starting on September 19. Ahead of the launch, the key specs of the devices have leaked. The latest development is a listing of the Vivo X70 Pro+ on the Google Play Console. Let’s take a look at the Vivo X70 Pro Plus specs, features and other details leaked ahead of the launch.

Vivo X70 Pro Plus Google Play Console

Vivo is likely to launch the X70 series in September. Ahead of the launch, the Vivo X70 Pro Plus is listed on the Google Play Console. The listing reveals some key performance unit details. It also reveals the display’s design and some other details.

According to the Google Play Console listing, the X70 Pro+ draws power from a Snapdragon SM8350, which is the Snapdragon 888 series SoC. The variant listed on the website has 8GB of RAM and Adreno 660 GPU. Vivo is expected to launch a 12GB RAM variant of the phone as well. It will run Android 11 out of the box. The India variant of the flagship smartphone will have Funtouch OS 11 on top of Android.

The device will have a Full HD+ display with a 1080 x 2400 resolution. As per the image attached, it will have a curved display with a hole punch cutout on top for the front camera.

Other details of the phone have leaked as well. As per a recent 3C listing, the phone will have support for 66W fast charging support. It is likely to pack a 4500 mAh battery. The phone is also rumoured to feature a camera sensor bigger than 1/1.28-inches. The current X60 Pro+ has a 50MP 1/1.31-inch sensor. The X70 Pro+ will continue to feature Zeiss optics. Details about the camera sensor resolution are currently unknown.

Design renders of the other two models, X70 and X70 Pro, have leaked as well. The X70 will have a flat display and a triple-camera setup, whereas the X70 Pro will have a curved display and a quad-camera setup.
