Vivo on September 9 launched the X70 series in China. The company debuted three new phones under the flagship lineup. These include the X70, X70 Pro and X70 Pro Plus. The phones come with some key upgrades, especially in the camera department. Vivo has confirmed the launch of the devices globally on September 13. The devices are expected to launch soon in India as well. Vivo India is yet to confirm the official launch date of the X70 series. Meanwhile, a key leak suggests that the devices will launch at the end of September 2021. Let’s take a look at the Vivo X70 series India launch date, specs and other details tipped.

Vivo X70 series India launch date

Vivo could debut the X70 series later this month in India. The company is likely to launch all three X70 series phones in India. Vivo has not yet formally announced the launch date. However, tipster Yogesh claims that the upcoming Vivo flagship phones will launch in India on September 30. He further states that the pricing will be similar to the X60 series launched in India earlier this year.

This means that we can expect the vanilla X70 to launch at around Rs 37,990 in India, whereas the Pro model could come with a starting price tag of Rs 49,990. The X70 Pro Plus could arrive at Rs 69,990. It is worth noting that the X70 series price in China is slightly higher than the X60 series. This could be due to the bunch of upgrades, coupled with the continued rise of component costs.

As mentioned earlier, Vivo is yet to announce the official launch date for the Indian market. We, therefore, would advise our readers to take the leaked information with a pinch of salt.

The X70 Pro Plus is the top-tier Vivo flagship. It comes with a quad-camera setup on the back with 360-degree Horizontal Image Stabilisation. The phone also comes with Vivo’s custom-developed V1 chip that is aimed at improving the imaging experience. The device draws power from a Snapdragon 888 Plus SoC.
