Vivo has refreshed its flagship smartphone lineup in India. The company has launched two new flagship smartphones, namely the Vivo X80 and X80 Pro. The vanilla X80 is the first smartphone in India to launch with MediaTek’s top-of-the-line flagship SoC, the Dimensity 9000. 

Although the phone is the company’s base model in the flagship lineup, the X80 packs some powerful hardware under the hood. The phone has a Zeiss-tuned camera system. It also comes with a high refresh rate AMOLED display. Let’s take a look at the Vivo X80 price in India, specifications and other details known so far.

Vivo X80 Price in India and Specifications 

Vivo has launched the X80 series in India. The vanilla X80 comes to India with 8GB and 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. The base model with 8GB + 128GB storage is priced at Rs 54,999,whereas the 12GB + 256GB variant is priced at Rs 59,999.

The X80 comes in Cosmic Black and Urban Blue colours. It goes on sale starting May 25 via Vivo e-Store, Flipkart, and other major retail partners. As part of the launch offers, customers with an HDFC Bank card can claim a Rs 7,000 discount by pre-booking the standard X80.

Coming to the specifications, the X80 sports a 6.78-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display. The screen has a hole-punch cutout at the top centre for the front camera. It also supports a 120Hz refresh rate. 

On the back, there is a huge camera block that houses a triple-camera setup. The phone has a 50MP main sensor along with a 12MP ultrawide camera and a 12MP portrait sensor with 2x optical zoom. There is a 32MP front camera sensor as well. As mentioned above, the phone comes with Zeiss-tuned cameras.

The phone has a glass build and weighs about 206 grams. It is also 8.3mm thick while packing a 4500 mAh battery. The phone supports 80W fast charging out of the box. Under the hood, there is a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC as well. The phone comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner and AI face unlock. It supports WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, 5G, 4G VoLTE, etc. The device runs Android 12-based Funtouch OS 12 out of the box.
