Vivo X80 series was launched in China back in April this year and the same X80 series was also launched in India in May. The X80 series now has two phones 一 the Vivo X80 Pro and the Vivo X80. However, the Vivo X80 Pro Plus has not been launched anywhere.
A few weeks back, MySmartPrice had exclusively revealed Vivo X80 Pro+ global launch timeline and the chipset. Now, a new report from GSMArena also confirms the same. The upcoming Vivo X80 device will be the top-of-the-line smartphone in the X80 series and the phone will come with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.
Vivo X80 Pro+ Launching Next Month
According to a trustworthy industry, a new X-series device will be launched in the month of September. This is likely the much rumoured Vivo X80 Pro+. The X80 Pro+ will be the third device in the series and the phone is expected to launch globally as well as in the Indian market as the successor to the X70 Pro+.
The Vivo X80 Pro+ will draw power from the latest Qualcomm chipset, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. This new Qualcomm chipset is based on a 4nm process and comes with 10 per cent CPU and GPU improvements over the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. More importantly, this SoC is claimed to consume 30% less power, making it more efficient as well.
We can expect the phone to come with Zeiss-tuned cameras and gimbal-like stabilisation. It would not be a surprise if the X80 Pro+ has a quad-camera setup on the back. As per some previous reports, the phone will come with a 50MP (main) + 48MP (Sony IMX598) + 50MP (Samsung JN1) + 50MP (Samsung JN2) quad-camera setup. The phone is also likely to sport a 6.8-inch 2K AMOLED display with a 120H refresh rate support. It is likely to support 120W fast charging as well.
