Vivo sub-brand iQOO recently launched the iQOO 9 series in India. The company’s latest flagship series comprises three flagship devices, namely the iQOO 9 SE, iQOO 9 and the iQOO 9 Pro. The Pro variant features top-of-the-line specs found on a 2022 flagship. Following iQOO’s flagship launch, Vivo is now gearing up for the launch of its X80 series.

MySmartPrice has exclusively learnt from its industry sources that the Vivo X80 series will debut in India in April 2022. The company is yet to confirm the official launch details of its flagship series in China. Some details of the X80 series have surfaced online in the past. Vivo X80 series India launch

Vivo is expected to announce the X80 series launch date in China very soon. Our sources claim that the Vivo flagship series will launch in India soon. As of now, the company is slated to launch the X80 series in India in April. The exact launch date remains unknown. We will share more details on the launch date as and when there is some information available.

It could be possible that the X80 series debuts first in China. The company, like the X70 series, could launch three new flagship smartphones. These could be called the X80, X80 Pro and X80 Pro+. As the naming scheme suggests, the X80 Pro+ will come with top-tier flagship specs. We can expect this smartphone to feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. It is also likely to feature a Zeiss-tuned camera setup along with Vivo’s Gimbal Stabilisation.

Recently, an alleged Vivo X80 series smartphone was spotted on benchmark websites with the model number V2186A. The listing revealed that the phone has a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC, which has a 1+ 3 + 4 tri-cluster architecture. The SoC has a prime core clocked at 3.0GHz and three performance cores clocked at 2.85GHz. The remaining four efficiency cores are clocked at 1.78GHz. The Vivo smartphone scored 1,072,221 in AnTuTu, which is among the highest among smartphones launched in 2022.

A recent report revealed that the vanilla model will feature a 6.56-inch LTPO AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution. The X80 Pro and X80 Pro+ are rumoured to feature 6.78-inch LTPO 2.0 E5 AMOLED display panels with Full HD+ and QHD+ resolutions, respectively. All three phones will support a 120Hz refresh rate.
