
The Vivo X80 series launch date in India has been announced. The company’s latest line of flagship series will arrive in India next week. The Vivo X80 series India launch has been set to take place on May 18th at 12 PM. The X80 series will be the successor to the Vivo X70 series, which arrived in India back in October 2021. The X80 series was launched in China back in April 2022.
In China, the Vivo X80 Pro and the Vivo X80 devices were launched and globally, the Vivo X80 Pro was launched just a couple of days back. Ahead of the India launch, MySmartPrice has already revealed the Storage, RAM, and colour options of the upcoming devices.
In India, the Vivo X80 series will be available for purchase on Flipkart and the microsite for the same is now live on the e-commerce platform. Like always, all eyes are on the camera setup as the last-gen X70 Pro was one of the best camera phones of the year.
Vivo X80 Pro: Specifications
The Vivo X80 Pro comes with a 120Hz 6.78-inch E5 2K AMOLED display. Under the hood, the phone comes in two processor options in China 一 MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC or Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. On the Vivo microsite, the company has mentioned only the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC for India. It will come with 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage in India.
The Vivo X80 Pro comes with a quad rear camera with a 50MP (f/1.57, OIS) GNV main camera, a 48MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide lens, a 12MP (f/1.85)portrait camera, and an 8MP ( f/3.4, OIS) telephoto lens. To the front, the device offers a 32MP selfie camera. The camera setup has been engineered by Zeiss optics. The phone draws power from a 4700mAh battery unit with support for 80W wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging.
Vivo X80: Specifications
The Vivo X80 sports a 6.78-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz screen refresh rate. It is powered by Dimensity 9000 SoC and will be available in India with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage and the other in 12GB of RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage.
In the camera department, the phone features a 50MP (f/1.75, OIS) main camera, a 12MP(f/2.0) ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 12MP (f/1.98) telephoto lens. The phone supports up to 20x digital zoom. For selfies, there is a 32MP snapper on the front. The Vivo X80 is backed by a 4,500mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging and there is no wireless charging here.
The Vivo X80 Pro starts at CNY 5499 in China, which is around Rs 64,350 and the Vivo X80 starts at CNY 3699, which is around Rs 43,300. The official pricing and along with the sale date and launch offers will be announced on May 18.
