Vivo X90, X90 Pro+ 5G Design Renders, Colour Options Leaked Ahead of November 22 Launch

The Vivo X90 series could launch soon in India.

Vivo X90 series is set to debut on November 22. The company has confirmed the launch of its new flagship smartphones in China on November 22. The X90 series could launch in India and other markets in the coming weeks. While we wait for more details about that, a new report has revealed the Vivo X90 and X90 Pro+ 5G’s design renders.

The 91Mobiles report reveals the front and back of both Vivo flagship smartphones. Both devices will launch in multiple colour options. The X90 Pro+ 5G will sit at the top of the lineup. Let’s take a look at the Vivo X90, X90 Pro+ 5G’s design renders, specifications and other details known so far.

Vivo X90, X90 Pro+: Here’s What it Might Look Like

The Vivo X90 series will succeed the X80 series, which was launched earlier this year in India. The phones will sport a premium design and feature top-notch camera hardware. According to the leaked design renders by 91Mobiles, citing tipster Ishan Agarwal, the X90 series will use two rear panel materials. The red colour option will come with a faux leather back. The other colour options will sport a glass back. While we are at it, the X90 will launch in Ice Blue, Red and Black colour options, whereas the Pro model will be available in Black and Red colours.

Both models look the same from the front. The phones sport a curved display with a hole-punch cutout at the top centre. The bezels around the display are also fairly thin.

On the back, both phones sport a large circular camera module. The report states that the X90 and X90 Pro+ will sport a quad-camera setup on the back. However, the X90 Pro+ 5G’s camera module will be larger than the standard model.

Other details of the phones have leaked in the past. The X90 and X90 Pro are said to feature a Dimensity 9200 SoC, whereas the Pro+ model will draw power from a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The vanilla model is said to launch in four storage options — 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB. The Pro+ 5G model, on the other hand, will launch in 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB storage options.

There will be a 6.78-inch AMOLED, 120Hz display with curved corners. The X90 Pro+ 5G is said to sport a 2K resolution display, whereas the X90 could feature a 1.5K resolution. The camera will be the USP of the phones.

The X90 Pro+ 5G is said to feature a 1-inch Sony IMX989 50MP main camera sensor along with a 48MP ultrawide camera. The device is also said to feature a 50MP tele-portrait lens and a 64MP OmniVision OV64B telephoto camera. The standard X90 is said to feature a smaller 50MP camera sensor in comparison. It could feature a 13MP ultrawide camera and a 12MP tele-portrait camera.

The devices are likely to pack a 4800mAh battery with 80W/100W fast charging support. The Pro+ model will support 50W wireless charging support as well. The X90 series will run Android 13 out of the box. It will feature a layer of Origin OS Ocean on top. The Indian variant could feature Funtouch OS 13 on top. What are your thoughts on the X90 series?
