Vivo is launching the Vivo X90 series later today in its domestic market. The Vivo X90 series consists of three devices – Vivo X90, Vivo X90 Pro, and Vivo X90 Pro+. Hours before the official launch, the display and camera details of the Vivo X90 Pro+ have surfaced on the Chinese micro-blogging site – Weibo. The leaked poster reveals that the Vivo X90 Pro+ will feature a Samsung E6 OLED display panel with LTPO 4.0 technology.
Another leaked poster reveals that Vivo X90 Pro+ will make use of a 1-inch Sony IMX989 sensor. The smartphone will feature a 50MP + 50MP + 64MP + 48MP camera setup as revealed in the leaked poster. Let us take a look at the leaked posters and the specifications of the Vivo X90 Pro+.
Vivo X90 Pro+: Specifications and Features
The Vivo X90 Pro+ will feature a 2K resolution Samsung E6 OLED display with a 517ppi pixel density and 1800nits peak brightness. It will be an LTPO 4.0 display which will feature a centered punch-hole notch. As per the leaks, the display panel will measure 6.78-inch diagonally and will have 2800×1260 resolution.
The Vivo X90 Pro+ will feature a quad-rear camera setup that includes a pair of 50MP sensors, a 48MP sensor, and a 64MP sensor. The primary shooter on the device includes a 50MP Sony IMX989 sensor with a 1-inch sensor size and 23mm focal length. It will be accompanied by a 50MP Sony IMX758 sensor which will function as a telephoto camera (50mm focal length).
The Vivo X90 Pro+ also has a 48MP Sony IMX598 sensor with ultra-wide-angle functionality and a 14mm focal length. The handset will also offer a periscope lens with a 64MP resolution and 90mm focal length. It might offer a 32MP selfie shooter at the front.
The Vivo X90 Pro+ was recently spotted on the Geekbench benchmark website with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and 12GB of RAM. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 was announced recently and it brings several improvements over its predecessor. The system on chip on the Vixo X90 Pro+ will be paired with UFS 4.0 storage and LPDDR5 memory. The handset will come pre-loaded with Android 13 out of the box.
The Vivo X90 Pro+ will come equipped with a 4,700mAh battery unit and 80W fast charging support. It will also support 50W wireless charging. The smartphone is said to weigh 220grams and measure 164.3 × 75.3 × 9.7mm. It will also feature an IP68 rating making it water and dust-resistant.
The Vivo X90 series is scheduled for launch later today in China. We can also expect the company to announce the global availability of the device at the launch event.
