Vivo has confirmed the launch of the X90 series in India. After teasing the launch for days, the company has finally revealed the X90 series India launch date. The Vivo X90 series will officially debut in India on April 26. The premium Vivo X series devices will include two phones in India. There will be the X90 as the baseline flagship. Vivo will also launch the X90 Pro as its top-of-the-line offering for the Indian market. 

The company has been teasing the key specs and features of the X90 series. The devices are available in select global markets already. Based on the teased features, it is safe to say that the X90 series in India will have the same specs as the global models. Vivo X90 Series Will Take on the OnePlus 11, Xiaomi 13 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S23 Series

The Vivo X90 series will be the company’s most premium offering in India. We can expect the company to launch the X90 and X90 Pro in India. The X90 is expected to be priced under Rs 60,000 in India. It will take on the likes of the OnePlus 11 (Review) and iQoo 11 (Review). The X90 Pro, on the other hand, will be a more premium offering taking on the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S23 series and the Xiaomi 13 Pro (Review). In fact, the X90 Pro will be the second smartphone after the Xiaomi 13 Pro to feature a 1-inch camera sensor on the back in India.

Vivo will announce the official price and sale details at the launch on April 26. The spec sheet, however, is available on the web.

The X90 and X90 Pro are identical when it comes to the display, software and processor. Both phones feature a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate support. The screen can get as bright as 1300 nits. Under the hood, both devices feature a MediaTek Dimensity 9200 SoC. Globally, there is up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage on offer.

In terms of software, both phones run Android 13 out of the box. They run Funtouch OS 13 globally. There is a 32MP front camera as well. The main differences between the two phones lie in the rear camera and battery departments. 

The X90 Pro has a better camera setup. It features a 50MP 1-inch Sony IMX989 primary camera sensor, a 50MP Sony IMX758 portrait sensor, and a 12MP ultra-wide camera. The phone also packs a 4,870mAh battery with support for 120W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging.

The vanilla X90, on the other hand, has a 4810mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. It features a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 12MP portrait telephoto lens. 

Both phones feature an in-display fingerprint scanner, support for Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, etc.
