Vivo Y02 Live Video
The Vivo Y02 is an entry-level smartphone offering set to debut soon. The live images and video online are similar to the design renders shared previously.
According to the live video shared by our retail sources, the phone sports a flat frame design and comes in two colours — Orchid Blue and Cosmic Grey. We have the Orchid Blue colour variant with us. There is a large circular camera module cutout on top of a rectangular cutout for the single-camera sensor and an LED flash. On the left edge of the phone is the SIM tray, whereas the right edge houses the power button and the volume keys.
On the front, the Y02 has a water-drop notch at the top of the display. The bezels around the screen are fairly narrow, except for the thick chin. At the bottom edge is the USB Type-C port sandwiched between the 3.5mm headphone jack and the speaker grille.
The Y02 has a 5000mAh battery under the hood. It will come with 10W charging support. It offers 32GB of internal storage. The primary camera uses an 8MP sensor. There will be a 6.51-inch HD+ display. For selfies, the front camera will feature a 5MP sensor. There will be support for storage expansion up to 1TB via a microSD card slot. We also revealed that the Y02 will come with a MediaTek Helio P22 SoC and 3GB of RAM.
The budget smartphone will boot last year’s Android 12 Go Edition out of the box. It will have a layer of Funtouch OS 12 on top of Android. A Shopee Thailand listing reveals that the Y02 price will be set at THB 3,799 (roughly Rs 8,700). The Indian price of the phone is likely to be set at Rs 8,449. What are your thoughts on the Y02?
