Vivo launched the entry-level Vivo Y02 smartphone in India back in December. The handset comes with a 6.5-inch display featuring a Helio P22 processor, 8MP rear-facing camera, and a 5,000mAh battery. Now, the company has launched the Vivo Y02A smartphone. This new handset has been officially announced by Vivo in Bangladesh. The Vivo Y02A is priced at BDT 12,499 (roughly Rs 9,630) in Bangladesh. The device comes in shades like Cosmic Grey and Orchid Blue. Considering that the Vivo Y02 was released in India, we can expect Vivo to launch the Vivo Y02A.

The Vivo Y02A boasts a 6.51-inch IPS LCD display that has a HD+ 720 x 1600 pixels resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. The device was a water-drop-shaped notch that accommodated the selfie camera. Under the hood, the Vivo Y02A is powered by MediaTek’s octa-core Helio P35 processor.

The device has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The handset also has microSD card support for storage expansion beyond 32GB. On the backside of the device there is a 8MP camera accompanied by a LED flash. For selfies and video-calling purpose, the device features a 5MP camera. On the software side of things, the Vivo Y02A runs Android 12 Go Edition with Funtouch OS 12 on top.
The whole package draws power from a 5,000mAh battery unit which supports 10W charging. Connectivity-wise, the device has several features such as dual SIM card support, 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, a microUSB port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Dimensions-wise, the Y02A measures 163.99 x 75.63 x 8.49mm and weighs 186 grams.
In a piece of related news, Vivo is prepping to launch the Vivo T2 and the Vivo T2x smartphones in India. Both these devices are expected to offer 5G support. The Vivo T2 is tipped to feature an AMOLED display and a 64MP camera with an OIS support. These upcoming smartphones are expected to retail in India under Rs 20,000. As per the recent Google Play Console listing, both the phones are expected to feature a Full HD+ display, and they might be powered by Dimensity 700 and Snapdragon 695 chipsets respectively. Both the phones are tipped to be available in India exclusively via Flipkart.
