Vivo Y02T, Vivo Y16 Receives Price Drop in India For Second Time: Here’s How Much These Smartphones Costs Now

The price of the Vivo Y16 and Vivo Y02T has been reduced by Rs 500.

Vivo has slashed the price of the Vivo Y02T and the Vivo Y16 smartphones in India. This is the second time these devices have received a price cut in the country. Previously, the price of the Vivo Y02T was reduced by Rs 500, whereas the Y16 received a price drop of Rs 1000 back in August. Now, the Chinese smartphone maker has reduced the pricing of these devices by Rs 500. Vivo took to X (formerly Twitter) to announce the price drop on the Vivo Y02T and the Vivo Y16.

Vivo Y02T, Vivo Y16 Price in India

After the price drop, the Vivo Y16 price in India starts at Rs 10,499 for the base 4GB RAM + 64GB storage configuration, whereas the 128GB storage model now retails for Rs 11,999. On the other hand, the Vivo Y02T now can be purchased for Rs 8,999. To recall, the Vivo Y02T retailed earlier for Rs 9,499. The Vivo Y16 was priced at Rs 10,999 and Rs 12,499 respectively. The new pricing is reflected on the Vivo India website, Flipkart, and Amazon.

Vivo Y02T, Vivo Y16 Features, Specifications

The Vivo Y02T and the Vivo Y16 offer almost similar specifications, except that they differ in terms of camera department. Both these devices feature a 6.51-inch display with an HD+ resolution. The display panels on these devices have a 270 PPI pixel density and an 82.5% screen-to-body ratio. Under the hood, both smartphones are powered by MediaTek’s octa-core Helio P35 processor which is paired with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. These devices pack 4GB of RAM. As for the software, these smartphones run Android 13 out of the box with FuntouchOS 13 skin on top.

When it comes to imaging, the Y0T features a single 8MP camera, while the Y16 flaunts a 13MP primary and 2MP secondary camera. Both smartphones feature a 5MP camera on the front side. These devices pack a 5,000mAh battery which supports 10W charging.
