Vivo Y100 5G India Price, Specifications Tipped
The Vivo Y100 5G is said to launch in India with a single storage option. The device will have a launch price of Rs 24,999 in India. According to Guglani, the phone will go on sale from February 16 in India.
The tipster also uploaded the live images of the phone, which show the colour options. The device will launch in Pacific Blue and Twilight Gold colour options. The rear panel is flat and has two circular cutouts at the top. There is a triple-camera setup and an LED flash in the two cutouts. Next to the camera sensors, we can see the OIS branding for better stabilisation.
On the front, there is a water-drop notch for the front camera. The chin bezel is considerably thick too. We can also see the 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port at the bottom edge. The frame is flat and houses the power and volume buttons on the right edge.
Separately, a report by The Tech Outlook revealed that the phone will measure 7.73mm in terms of thickness and weigh about 181 grams. The device will feature a fairly large 4500mAh battery. It will support 44W fast charging out of the box. There will be an IP54 rating for water and dust resistance. According to the report, the Y100 will also feature a colour-changing glass finish on the back. It will launch in three colours — Twilight Gold, Pacific Blue, and Metal Black. The leaked marketing materials show the device in its third Metal Black colour option.
The device will feature a 64MP main camera with support for optical image stabilisation. The phone is tipped to feature a 2MP macro sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. The rear camera will come with features like super night mode, bokeh flare portrait, multi-style night filters, multi-style portrait feature, vlog movies, cinematic videos and dual-view video modes.
Under the hood, there will be a Dimensity 900 SoC. The phone will come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It will also support 8GB of Extended RAM. There is support for storage expansion up to 1TB via a microSD card. The Y100 5G will feature a 6.38-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The display will offer 1300 nits of peak brightness.
