Vivo Y100 5G Price in India, Specifications Tipped

The Vivo Y100 5G is said to launch with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage in India. It will launch in India within the next 5-7 days. The leaked details have come from tipster Paras Guglani, aka Passionate Geekz, who also revealed that the device will support 8GB of virtual RAM. The device will be priced between Rs 27,000 and Rs 29,000, according to the tipster.

The Vivo Y100 5G will boot Android 12 out of the box, which feels like a bummer for a phone launching in February 2023. The device is likely to have a layer of Funtouch OS 12 on top of Android.

In terms of hardware, the phone will feature a 6.3-inch AMOLED display. It will have a 90Hz refresh rate support. The device will have a triple-camera setup on the back. There will be a 64MP primary camera sensor with support for optical image stabilisation (OIS). There will also be a 2MP macro camera sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, the Y100 5G will have a 16MP front camera.

The device will draw power from a MediaTek Dimensity 920 SoC. The chipset is a predecessor to the Dimensity 1080 SoC, which is used in the likes of the Realme 10 Pro+ 5G and Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G.

The Y100 5G is also said to pack a 5000mAh battery. While the battery capacity is the same as what we see in many smartphones these days, the Y100 5G supports 44W fast charging out of the box. In comparison, many phones in the tipped price range offer up to 120W fast charging support. The device is rumoured to launch in Gold, Blue and Black colour options.
