Vivo is all set to launch a new Y-series smartphone – the Vivo Y100 on February 16 in the Indian market. Ahead of the launch, the high-resolution renders, specifications, and features of the Vivo Y100 have surfaced on the web, courtesy of Sudhanshu Ambhore. The leaked renders reveal that teh Vivo Y100 will launch in Gold, Blue, and Black colour options.

The upcoming Y-series smartphone is tipped to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor and 4500mAh battery unit. Let us take a closer look at the Vivo Y100 price in India, design renders, specifications, and features.

Vivo Y100: Design Renders and Colour Options

Vivo Y100 leaked renders showcase a full-screen display with a waterdrop notch and a sizeable chin. The smartphone, based on the leaked renders, will launch in three colour options – Gold, Blue, and Black. The gold and blue colour variant of the device will feature colour charging back panels. The back panel on these colour variants will change colours when exposed to ultraviolet rays.

The right panel of the device will accommodate the volume rockers and power button. The speaker grill, Type-C charging port, and 3.5mm audio jack will be located along the bottom edge. Whereas, the SIM card tray will reside on the top edge of the device.

The Vivo Y100 will reportedly feature a 6.38-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and 360Hz touch sampling rate. The display panel will accommodate the front selfie shooter inside a waterdrop notch as seen in the leaked renders.

Under the hood, the upcoming Y-series smartphone might sport an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor and 8GB of RAM. It is tipped to be paired with 128GB of onboard storage. It will reportedly come pre-loaded with FunTouch OS 13, based on Android 13.

The Vivo Y100 is tipped to sport a triple-rear camera setup. The primary shooter on the device could be a 64MP sensor with OIS support and an f/1.7 aperture. It might get accompanied by a 2MP depth and a 2MP macro sensor. The smartphone will reportedly feature a 16MP front shooter.

The upcoming Y-series smartphone is tipped to be equipped with a 4500mAh battery unit and 44W FlashCharge fast charging support. We can expect it to feature a Type-C port for charging and data transfers. The smartphone is said to sport a hybrid micro-SD card slot.

The Vivo Y100 is said to launch in three colour options – Gold, Blue, and Black. On the security front, it is tipped to offer an in-display fingerprint scanner. It might also feature an IP54 rating making it dust and water-resistant. As per the leak, it will weigh 181 grams.

Sudhanshu claims that the Vivo Y100 will be priced at Rs 24,999 for the 8GB + 128GB configuration.
