Vivo has officially launched the new Y-series smartphone dubbed as the Vivo Y100A smartphone in India. The newly launched Vivo Y100A features a colour-changing back panel similar to that of the Vivo Y100 which debuted back in February. As far as the specifications of the Vivo Y100A go, it has a 6.38-inch AMOLED display that offers Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The device is powered by a Snapdragon 695 SoC which is coupled with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. The handset comes with a triple-camera setup and packs a 4,500mAh battery which supports 44W fast charging.
Vivo Y100A Price In India, Availability
As of now, Vivo has not revealed any details regarding the price and availability of the Vivo Y100A. However, as per the details available on Vivo’s India website, the smartphone will be available in Metal Black, Twilight Gold, and Pacific Blue colour options.

The Vivo Y100A features a 6.38-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution. The device has a 90Hz refresh rate, DCI-P3 colour gamut, up to 1,300 nits of peak brightness, and a water-drop-shaped cutout that accomdates the selfie camera. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 695 processor. The handset packs 8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of internal storage. Furthermore, the phone also has 8GB Virtual RAM support.

As for the software, this latest Y-series device runs Android 13 OS with Funtouch OS 13 skin on top. The back of the handset includes a triple-camera setup, which consists of a 64MP main camera. Accompanying the 64MP sensor there is a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro lens. The 64MP sensor has a f/1.79 aperture, several photography modes, and an OIS support. While on the other hand, both the 2MP sensors have a f/2.4 aperture. On the frontside, the handset features a 16MP selfie camera that has a f/2.0 aperture.
The Vivo Y100A is backed by a 4,500mAh battery which supports 44W fast charging. In terms of connectivity, the handset offers several features such as dual-SIM card support, 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Dimensions-wise, the Vivo Y100A measures 158.91 x 75.53 x 7.73mm and weighs 181 grams.
