Vivo is gearing up to launch two new phones in its budget Y-series in India. The Chinese manufacturer will soon be launching the Vivo Y12 and Vivo Y15 smartphones. However, before the official launch, the specs of both the phones have come out in the open, leaving no room for imagination. A tweet by Mumbai-based retailer Mahesh Telecom has revealed it all. Vivo Y12 and Y15 Key Specs Leaked
According to the tweet by Mahesh Telecom, both Vivo Y12 and Vivo Y15 smartphones will feature a 6.35-inch HD+ Halo FullView display at 1544 x 720 pixels resolution and a screen-to-body ratio of 89 percent at 268ppi of pixel density. A MediaTek Helio P22 processor will be powering both the handsets with 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage. A microSD card slot is also there to aid further storage expansion.
Concerning optics, both the phones will come with triple camera setup on the rear featuring an 8MP AI 120-degree super wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture, a 13MP secondary lens with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2MP depth sensor with an aperture of f/2.4. On the front, the Vivo Y12 will have an 8MP selfie snapper with f/2.0 aperture while the Vivo Y15 will have a superior 16MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture. Front camera features on both the phones will include Face Unlock, HDR, Professional, Panorama, Live Photo, Portrait mode, AI Filters, and more. On the rear, both the phones will also have a fingerprint sensor.
On the software side of things, both the phones will ship with Android 9 Pie-based FunTouch OS. A massive 5,000mAh battery will back both the phones. Connectivity support will include dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, micro USB port, GPS, and GLONASS.

Vivo Y12 and Vivo Y15 Expected Price in India
A report by 91Mobiles revealed the expected pricing of both the phones in India. It states that the brand is aiming at the budget segment in the Indian smartphone market. Both the phones would arrive under the 15K price segment in India. The promotional poster of both the phones has also been shared with the retailers. As for the expected launch date, the report hints that Vivo may make both smartphones official by May 24, 2019, in India.
