Vivo Y15A Launched With MediaTek Helio P35, 13MP Dual Cameras and More: Price, Specifications

Vivo has officially unveiled the latest Y-series smartphone, the Vivo Y15A in the Philippines. Speaking about the design of the device first, it has a water-drop notch at the top of the display which houses the selfie camera. The smartphone sports a dual-camera setup at the back and has a fingerprint sensor located at the side. The Vivo Y15A flaunts a 6.51-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution. The rest of the specifications of the handset includes the Helio P35 chipset, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, and a 5000mAh battery.

Vivo Y15A Pricing, Colour Options

The Vivo Y15A is priced at  PHP 7,999 (Rs 11,900) for the sole 4GB RAM + 64GB storage configuration. The device comes in two colour options: Wave Green and Mystic Blue. As of now, Vivo has not announced any detail regarding the global availability of the device.

The Vivo Y15A comes with a 6.51-inch IPS LCD display that has a HD+ resolution and a standard 60Hz refresh rate. The smartphone boots Android 11 out of the box with FunTouch OS 11.1 on top. Powering the device under the hood there is a Helio P35 processor. The smartphone packs 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

As far as the optics details of the device go, it has a dual-camera setup at the back which includes 13MP primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor. The selfies department of the Y15A is handled by a 8MP camera. Connectivity-wise the device offers features such as a dual-SIM card slot, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, OTG support, FM Radio, a microUSB slot, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The whole package draws power from a 5,000mAh battery that has 10W charging support. Dimensions-wise the device measures 163.96 x 75.2 x 8.28mm and weighs 179 grams. The smartphone also has microSD card support for further storage expansion. For security purpose, the Vivo Y15A has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, which is embedded in a power button.
