Vivo is gearing up to launch a new smartphone in its popular Y-series. The Chinese company is all set to launch Vivo V20 Pro 5G in the country and recently, it introduced a budget-centric phone known as Vivo Y1s. Now, we have spotted a new Vivo smartphone on the NBTV certification authority website, which reveals the name and some other details about the upcoming smartphone. As per the certification, the upcoming Vivo smartphone will be known as Vivo Y20 (2021). Here’s a closer look at the NBTC certification for the Vivo Y20 (2021).

As seen on the NBTC certification image, the Vivo Y20 (2021) has been certified. The certification reveals that the upcoming smartphone will come with model number vivo V2043. The listing also reveals that the smartphone will be an LTE handset. Apart from what we have mentioned, the NBTC certification does not reveal much about the Vivo Y20 (2021). At the time of writing, there is not much information available about the specifications, renders, features, or availability of the upcoming smartphone.

That said, the smartphone will be a successor of the Vivo Y20, which was launched in India in August this year. The smartphone comes with a price tag of Rs 12,990 and is available in Obsidian Black and Dawn White colours. The Vivo Y20 features some budget-centric specs including a 6.51-inch HD+ display along with Snapdragon 460 SoC. The device packs triple-camera setup with 13MP primary lens, 2MP depth sensor, and 2MP macro. On the front, there is an 8MP shooter. Apart from this, you get 5,000mAh battery, Android 10 operating system, 4GB RAM, and 64GB storage.
