Vivo Y20 New Variant, Colour Option Launched In India: Price, Availability

Vivo has introduced a new colour option for its smartphone, the Vivo Y20.


Vivo back in August this year introduced a Y20 smartphone along with Y20i. The phone comes loaded with Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 SoC and feature triple-camera setup. The phone is loaded with a 5,000mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging support. This coupled with other interesting features made it a good device in this price range. Now, the company has introduced a new variant of the Vivo Y20 smartphone. Furthermore, the brand has also added a new colour option for the latest smartphone.

Vivo Y20 new variant, colour option price details

The company has introduced a 6GB RAM + 64GB storage option for its smartphone. The new variant of Vivo Y20 price in India is INR 13,990. To recall, the company introduced the 4GB RAM + 64GB option for INR 12,990. Moving on, the Vivo has also introduced a new Purist Blue colour for Vivo Y20. The colour option is available with both the variants.

With this, The Vivo Y20 6GB + 64GB is available in Purist Blue and Obsidian Black, while the Vivo Y20 4GB + 64GB option is available in Purist Blue, Obsidian Black and Dawn White. The new variant and colour option will be available across offline partner retail stores, Vivo India E-store, and other major e-commerce websites starting September 24, 2020.

Vivo Y20 specifications

Coming to the specifications of the Vivo Y20, it features 6.51-inch HD+ panel with a screen resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 processor along with Adreno 610 GPU.

The Vivo Y20 features a triple-camera setup with 13MP primary lens with f/1.8 aperture, 2MP depth sensor and 2MP macro lens. On the front, it comes with 8Mp selfie shooter. The device is loaded with up to 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage with an option to expand the storage via microSD card slot.

The Vivo Y20 packs a 5,000mAh battery and comes with 18W fast charging support. However, the company has added a micro USB port for charging, while most of the competition is currently offering USB Type-C port on their smartphones in this price range. The smartphone runs on Android 10 with FunTouch OS 10.5 on top of it.
