Vivo has now officially confirmed the launch date of the Vivo Y200 smartphone in India. The device is set to launch in the country next week and will offer 5G connectivity, dual rear cameras, and a 120Hz AMOLED display, at a price tag of below Rs 24,000. The Vivo Y200 will be the successor to the Vivo Y100, which was launched earlier this year. The series is aimed at the midrange segment and focuses on offering powerful specifications with a fancy design.
Vivo Y200 India Launch Date Confirmed
The Vivo Y200 will be officially launched in India on October 23, 2023. The date has been confirmed by Vivo. The company is using the tagline ‘It’s My Style’ to highlight the design and unique colour options of the Vivo Y200.
As per previous reports, the Vivo Y200 is expected to feature a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is tipped to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 processor, with up to 8GB of RAM. Vivo will supposedly add support for an additional 8GB of virtual RAM.
The Vivo Y200 is rumoured to feature a dual rear camera setup. The primary camera is expected to be a 64MP sensor with OIS support. The secondary camera will reportedly be a 2MP depth sensor. Previous leaks also show that the selfie camera will be a 16MP sensor.
The battery on the Vivo Y200 is tipped to have a capacity of 4800mAh. The device is expected to support 44W wired fast charging.
Connectivity-wise, the Vivo Y200 will be 5G enabled, as confirmed by Vivo in its teaser image. The device is also expected to support WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and other regular wireless options. The phone will reportedly feature an in-display fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication.
As per an exclusive tip, Vivo has emphasised the design aspect of the Vivo Y200. The device is expected to have a maximum thickness of 7.69mm, making it one of the slimmest devices in the segment. The device is also tipped to be priced below Rs 24,000.
