Vivo has officially announced a new Y-series smartphone, dubbed as the Vivo Y20s [G]. The device is unveiled in the Philippines market and is available for pre-orders starting from April 10th. The Vivo Y20s [G] bears the same specifications as that of the Vivo Y20s, except that it packs a different chipset under the hood. The smartphone features a 6.51-inch display and it is powered by MediaTek Helio G80 chipset. In terms of imaging, the device sports a triple-camera setup at the rear that consists of a 13MP primary camera. The Vivo Y20s [G] comes in Obsidian Black and Purist Blue colour option. The device is priced at PHP 9,999 (Rs 15,393) for which you get a 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model. The smartphone is available for pre-order in the Philippines starting from April 10th. It can be purchased from the Vivo store and is also available online through Shopee and Lazada website. The Vivo Y20s [G] features a 6.51-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ 1600 x 720 pixels resolution. The display has a standard 60Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device is powered by MediaTek’s Helio G80 SoC that is aided with Mali-G52 MP2 GPU. The phone ships with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. On the software front, the smartphone runs Android 11 out of the box with FuntouchOS 11 UI.
In terms of optics, the device sports a triple-camera setup. The triple-camera module includes a 13MP primary main camera, and a two 2MP depth and macro camera units. For selfies and video-calling, the smartphone features an 8MP camera. The device even has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
