The Chinese smartphone maker Vivo seems to be prepping up for the expansion of the Y27 series product portfolio with the Vivo Y27s smartphone. The upcoming Vivo Y27s smartphone was spotted at the Bluetooth SIG certification last month. The listing confirmed the moniker as well as support for Bluetooth v5.0. The device also appeared on the TKDN certification website recently. The TKDN listing confirmed that the Vivo Y27s will be a 4G smartphone. Now, in a recent development, the Vivo Y27s has appeared on Geekbench ahead of launch.
Vivo Y27s Will Pack 8GB of RAM
The Geekbench listing confirms that the upcoming Vivo Y27s (V2322) will be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 680 SoC which will be paired with Adreno 610 GPU. The smartphone will pack 8GB of RAM and it will boot Android 13 out of the box as revealed by the test result. The device has managed to score 412 and 1454 points in the single-core and multi-core tests respectively.
The rest of the key specifications of the smartphone such as its display size, camera configuration, and other details remain unknown currently. We shall be able to learn more details about this upcoming Y27 series smartphone as the days pass.
To recall, the Vivo Y27 lineup consists of two devices namely the Vivo Y27 4G and the Y27 5G. Both these smartphones feature a 6.64-inch IPS LCD display that has a Full HD+ resolution. The 4G model is powered by Helio G85 SoC, while the 5G variant comes with Dimensity 6020 chipset. These smartphones pack up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. As for the software, both the devices boot Android 13-based Funtouch OS 13 out of the box.
Both smartphones feature a 50MP dual-camera setup and an 8MP front-facing camera. These devices sport a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security purposes. The Vivo Y27 4G model supports 44W fast charging, while the 5G variant offers 15W fast charging. Both smartphones packs a 5,000mAh battery.
The Vivo Y27 4G is priced at Rs 14,999 in India and it comes in Burgundy Black and Garden Green.
