Vivo has launched a new Y-series smartphone. The company has launched the Vivo Y30 5G as its new budget 5G smartphone in Thailand. The Y30 5G is likely to arrive soon in India. Vivo is yet to confirm the official India launch details of its new 5G smartphone. 

The Y30 5G features a Dimensity 5G processor. It comes in two colour options. The camera module design on the back is similar to the Vivo T1 5G, which was launched recently in India. Let’s take a look at the Vivo Y30 5G price, specifications, features and other details.

Vivo Y30 5G Price and Specifications 

The Vivo Y30 5G comes in a single storage option in Thailand. It has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage and is priced at THB 8,699. This roughly translates to Rs 18,950. The phone arrives in Starlight Black and Rainbow colours.

In terms of specifications, the Y30 5G packs a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. The chipset is paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The phone supports 2GB of Extended RAM. It also comes with a microSD card slot for storage expansion.

On the back, there is a dual-camera setup. The phone has a 50MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture along with a 2MP macro camera. The Y30 5G has an 8MP front camera for selfies and video calls.

There is a 5000 mAh battery under the hood. The phone supports only 10W charging out of the box. It sports a 6.51-inch IPS LCD with an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. There is a waterdrop notch at the top for the front camera. The phone also supports a standard 60Hz refresh rate. It has a screen-to-body ratio of 89 per cent.

The Y30 5G has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and AI face unlock support. It comes with a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, dual-SIM, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, etc. The phone weighs about 193 grams and is 8.25mm thick. It runs Android 12-based Funtouch OS 12 out of the box.
