Vivo Y30 6GB RAM Variant Launch in India Expected Soon

Back in July 2020, Vivo unveiled its mid-range Android smartphone, dubbed the Vivo Y30, in India. The Vivo Y30 was initially launched in a single memory variant in the country, with 4GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. The brand is now going to launch yet another variant of the device in India, which will feature a larger 6GB of RAM. The brand recently posted a new promotional poster for the 6GB variant of the Vivo Y30 smartphone, which hints that the launch is imminent. As seen in the promotional poster, the Vivo Y30 6GB variant is set to launch soon in India. The promotional poster has officially been posted by Jerome Chen on Facebook, leading us with no doubts whatsoever regarding its authenticity. The new variant, just like the old variant, will be available in two color variants – Dazzle Blue and Emerald Black.


Other than the increased RAM, the remaining specifications of the Vivo Y30 will likely be the same. The device features a 6.47-inch Full HD+ panel with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 720 x 1,560 pixels. The device features a left-aligned single punch-hole selfie snapper. Speaking of, the Vivo Y30 comes with an 8MP front camera. Coming to the rear of the device, the Vivo Y30 features a quadruple rear camera setup, which consists of a 13MP primary camera with f/2.2 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 aperture, a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2MP lens with f/2.4 aperture. Furthermore, there is a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner present on the back of the device.

Under the hood, the Vivo Y30 comes with an an octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 processor, which is paired with 4GB (and now 6GB) of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. If this much storage does not suffice for your media consumption needs, the same can be expanded with the help of an external SD card.
