Vivo Y30: Price and Availability
The Vivo Y30 is priced at RM899, which roughly translates to somewhere around $208. The brand has introduced a single memory variant of the device, which comes with 4 gigs of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. The device is available in two color options – Moonstone White and Dazzle Blue. As mentioned earlier, there is no word on the global launch of the device so far.
Vivo Y30: Specifications and Features
Starting with the display of the device, the Vivo Y30 sports a 6.37-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 1,560 x 720 pixels. The device features a single punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera, located in the top left corner of the device’s display. The punch-hole makes room for an 8MP selfie shooter. Because of the presence of a cutout, the Vivo Y30 manages a tall 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The power button and the volume up and down buttons are on the right side of the device, while the SIM tray is on the left side.
Flipping the Vivo Y30 to the rear side, the device boasts a quadruple rear camera module, which consists of a 13MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. Underneath the camera array, the Vivo Y30 has an LED flash. At the back, the Vivo Y30 features a physical fingerprint scanner as well.
Powering the Vivo Y30 is an octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 processor, which is clubbed with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. The internal storage of the Vivo Y30 has scope for further expansion with the help of an external SD card. This necessarily means that one can top up the storage of the device by up to 256GB. On the software side of things, the Vivo Y30 ships with the latest Android 10 OS out of the box, which is coated with the company’s in-house FunTouch OS 10 skin on top.
Coming to the battery of the device, the Vivo Y30 features a large 5,000mAh battery, which has support for a standard 10W charging. Sadly enough, interested buyers will miss out on fast charging support for the Vivo Y30.
We will keep you posted if/when the Vivo Y30 is launched in the remaining parts of the world. As of now, those residing in Malaysia can get their hands on the device. What are your thoughts on the recently launched Vivo Y30? Do let us know in the comments section below.
