Vivo has added yet another smartphone to its Y-series. The latest Vivo Y32 is also the world’s first handset with Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor. The latest mid-range Y-series handset comes with a large display, and boots OriginOS 1.0. It offers a dual-rear camera setup and a large 5,000mAh battery. Vivo Y32: Price

The Vivo Y32 comes only in one storage-memory configuration that is – 8GB + 128GB. It is priced at RMB 1,399 in China that translated to about Rs. 16,680.

The latest Vivo handset flaunts a 6.51-inch HD+ LCD panel with a 1600 × 720 pixel resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. It is a standard 60Hz refresh rate panel that houses the front selfie shooter inside a waterdrop notch.

Powering the Y32 is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor that is built on a 6nm fabrication process. The graphics duties on the system-on-chip are handled by an integrated Adreno 610GPU. The handset packs 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage. It also offers 4GB extended RAM, and up to 1TB external storage via the micro-SD card slot.

Moving on to the optics, the device is equipped with a dual-rear camera setup and a LED flash. The cameras and the LED flash reside on the top left corner of the back panel inside a rectangular module. The primary sensor on the device is a 13MP shooter that gets coupled with a 2MP macro sensor. For selfies and video calls, there is an 8MP shooter at the front.

The Vivo Y32 packs a 5,000mAh battery under the hood and makes use of up to 18W fast charging. It has a Type-C charging port, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Connectivity options include Dual Sim, 4G, Dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 and GPS. The handset measures 164.26 × 76.08 × 8.00mm, weighs 182grams and comes in two color variants – Harumi Blue, and Foggy Night. It boots OriginOS 1.0 which is based on Android 11.
